THAI CUISINE

THAI CUISINE

Today we will tell you about the art of Thai cuisine – one of the three cuisines, which you can find in our restaurant.

Over the course of centuries it has been strongly influenced by Chinese cuisine from the north and Indian cuisine from the west. Although in many ways closer to the former, Indian influences are also evident. One of the examples of this is the presence of hot curry dishes, which is more frequent than in China.

Despite the clear influence from the outside, the uniqueness of Thai cuisine is mainly a result of the original ingredients used by the Thais. One of the most characteristic additive is coconut milk and a number of aromatic spices such as lemongrass, fresh ginger or lime leaves. Fresh and original ingredients are also the essential elements in our restaurant, where professional chefs from the Far East create great dishes based on traditional recipes.

In comparison with other East Asian cuisines, Thai cuisine should be rated as one of the most spicy and aromatic. One of its characteristics is also a certain freedom when it comes to preparing the dishes. The rules here aren’t as strict as in China, the proportions of ingredients used and thus the taste of the food depend largely on the individual style of the chef. Among the ingredients used in dishes that play a far greater role than in Chinese cuisine one should name seafood, especially crustaceans.

Although in the western world the best-known and most popular Asian cuisine remains the Chinese cuisine, recently Thai cuisine (alike Japanese cuisine) has gained considerable popularity in Europe, mainly because of the unique flavor of dishes. Probably the best-known Thai dish in the world is the famous tom yum – a hot and sour soup with shrimps and mushrooms, occasionally seasoned with coconut milk.

In our restaurant menu, we present you a wide range of Thai cuisine dishes. These amazing, rich in original flavors and aromas dishes will certainly remain in your memory for a long time.
